Fees for Counseling Services
(as of 1-1-2008)
- Fees for counseling sessions are based on time, not on number of people attending.
- Most sessions typically run 50 minutes, but the first session usually lasts an hour.
- Fees are based on each therapist’s degree and licensure.

Insurance Reimbursement
- Most insurance companies only reimburse for services provided by licensed providers.
- Many mental health plans are subcontracted to managed care companies, requiring pre-approval.
- As a courtesy to our clients, we bill insurance and managed care companies.
- Our support staff will call your insurance company prior to the first session to determine pre-certification requirements, co-payment amounts after deductible, and address to submit claims.
Payment Policies
- We ask that any co-payments be paid at time of service.
- We accept cash, checks, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover.
