It is important to recognize the unique qualities of each stage in life. Entering late adulthood is a distinct and sensitive experience. One can expect to deal with many transitions including a decrease in physical stamina or memory, the transition of children leaving home, retirement, or the loss of a spouse. These transitions may be paired with many difficult emotions including fear, depression, anxiety and isolation.
These changes are familiar and we at The Antioch Group want our clients to know that they are not alone! Our therapists are experienced and equipped, ready to help our clients and their families as they encounter the reality of the aging process.
