Alcohol & Drug Abuse
When abused, alcohol and drugs can become more important than everything else in an addict’s life. Frequently, this can lead to broken occupational and social commitments, bankruptcy, or even serious legal problems.
Alone, most attempts to stop the alcohol or drug addiction are unsuccessful. However, our clinicians are trained to help. Addiction recovery is often accomplished through a 12-step group therapy program coupled with individual therapy sessions focusing on building life skills, drug and alcohol addiction education, and coping strategies. Family or a strong social network can also provide the necessary support throughout the recovery process.
