Jacob has his Master’s degree in Social Work and is currently working toward licensure. He received his Bachelor of Social Work degree from Bradley University, and his Master of Social Work degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Jacob has a strong desire to help those who are struggling with addiction, partnering with them to break free of the bondage they have been under. Most recently, he has completed a program provided by the International Institute for Trauma & Addiction Professionals (IITAP) that has earned him the designation of Associate Sex Addiction Therapist (ASAT.) Jacob also has experience in working with individuals regarding spiritual struggles, and is continually seeking how to best integrate our mental and spiritual health to move us closer to the design that God has for each of us.

Jacob, his wife, and two children attend the Peoria Apostolic Christian Church. Jacob’s goal is to provide an atmosphere of hope and safety as we all move through this life in a world that is not our home.
