Specializes in: Extensive experience working with child and families, with specialized training in early childhood mental health and evidence-based therapeutic approaches designed for children ages 12 and under.  She also has expertise in treating the following: attachment disorder and bonding issues, sexual, physical, and emotional abuse, mood disorders, OCD,  family discord, and family unification.

Populations served: Children, adolescents, parents and families of children and adolescents

Additional services: Conducts Parenting Capacity Assessments and Bonding Assessments,  parent-child reunification, and works with children and families in high-conflict situations, and childhood divorce adjustment issues.  

Ms. Tyler received her Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Bradley University, and she is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor.  Ms. Tyler serves as the President and co-owner of The Antioch Group, Inc., and is the Director of The Antioch Group Child Clinic.  Ms. Tyler has published work on play therapy.  She co-founded the Illinois Association of Play Therapy and served two terms as president of the association.

Ms. Tyler specializes in counseling children and their families. She provides training for mental health professionals in a variety of child therapy approaches and supervises the Child Clinic providers.

 Ms. Tyler and her husband are members of Bethany Baptist Church, where she serves as a Children’s Church Teacher.
